By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including customers located in the UK, USA, Europe, and other international regions.

3. CURRENCY AND PAYMENTS

• Displayed Currency: To provide the best experience, we display prices in your local currency (e.g., USD, GBP, EUR) based on your location.
• Transaction Processing: Please note that we are a Turkey-based entity. While you shop in your local currency, the underlying transaction is processed securely through our international payment gateways.
• Exchange Rates: The amount charged to your card will match the total price shown at checkout. Rugs United does not charge any hidden conversion fees. However, some banks may apply their own minor international transaction fees, over which we have no control.

4. IMPORT DUTIES & TAXES (DDP - No Surprise Costs)

We want your experience to be seamless.

• For UK, USA, and Germany: We operate on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. This means Rugs United covers all applicable import duties and customs taxes. The price you pay at checkout is final. You will not be asked to pay extra fees upon delivery.
• For Other Regions: Unless specified otherwise at checkout, customers in other countries may be responsible for local customs charges.

5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

• Origin of Shipment: All our premium rugs are designed in London and crafted/shipped from our facilities in Gaziantep, Turkey.
• Carriers: We use FedEx / DHL for express international delivery.
• Delivery Times:
  • USA: 5-8 business days.
  • UK & Europe: 4-7 business days.

6. RIGHT TO CANCEL & RETURNS

• Consumer Rights: We respect international consumer laws. You have the right to cancel your order or request a return within 14 days of delivery.
• Return Procedure: Since our warehouse is in Turkey, we strive to make returns easy. For customers in the UK, USA, and Germany, we provide local return consolidation points to avoid high international shipping costs for you.

Please note: Unlike domestic sales in Turkey, return shipping costs in international markets are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective.

7. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey.

• International Customers: However, if you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Rugs United shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service or products. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product sold.
